Reno - Verdi

View Verdi in a larger map

Where Forest Meets the Desert.

Verdi is your very first exit after exiting California and the forested mountains, where you meet Nevada and the high desert. A very quaint little town with a few things to offer for travelers.

At I-80 Exit 2, you will find gas, some basic fast travel supplies, restaurants, and an RV campground with greywater services at the Terrible’s Gold Ranch. You will also find next door a Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Smoke Shop for discounted tobacco. From here, down 3rd street (aka Highway 40), you can enter the heart of this tiny nook of a town, with some quieter and cozier restaurant and coffeeshop options, and some auto-repair care and local hospitality.

At I-80 Exit 4, you will find Boomtown Hotel-Casino with some restaurant options, and the Cabela’s Sporting Goods store next-door.
