Reno - Verdi

View Verdi in a larger map

Where Forest Meets the Desert.

Verdi is your very first exit after exiting California, the mountains, and the vast forest, and where you meet Nevada and the high desert.  A quaint little town with a few things to offer for travelers.

At I-80 Exit 2, you will find gas, some basic fast travel supplies, restaurants, and an RV campground with greywater services at the Terrible’s Gold Ranch.  You will also find next door a Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Smoke Shop for discounted tobacco.  From here, down 3rd street (aka Highway 40), you can enter the heart of this tiny town, with some quieter and cozier restaurant and coffeeshop options, and some auto-repair care and local hospitality.

At I-80 Exit 4, you will find Boomtown Hotel-Casino with some restaurant options, and the Cabela’s Sporting Goods store next-door.
