No, you don’t have to be odd to come to Oddie Blvd., although it might help. Off this exit are some fabulous finds... especially the cheap kind. Northbound on US-395, make a right at the end of the offramp and let the shopping begin!
At the first light, look to the right. The U-Haul right on the corner offers propane. Unfortunately, U-Haul may not be likely to rent a truck or trailer to you to take to Black Rock City, but you can fill up your propane tanks here. Hours are varied. Call 775-359-9202 for details, as well as for possible reservations and prices on trucks/trailers?
Now, turning to the left on Silverado, you will find great deals on both sides of you. To the left is Sak-N-Save. Open 24/7, Sak-N-Save is a super discount grocer with a LOT of stock and a decent variety of offerings. Debit cards and cash only. ATM inside. Not a lot of merchandise though.
Turning right off of Silverado and you’ll find Lowe’s Home Improvement, a fantastic place to get hardware and building supplies. In this shopping center you will also find a Goodwill, Long’s Drugs, and most importantly, Savers Thrift Store. Might be worth a stop in and look around for that one gem. We’ve found some killer stuff at this Savers. It’s a huge store with everything but the kitchen sink, and part of the proceeds go to charity.
Back on Oddie, down the street is a Save Mart and a Super K-Mart, and a little further, at Rock Blvd, turn right and you will find the sisters-owned Fresca Waterhouse. When your itch to shop has been satisfied, head back to US 395, go south, then turn onto I-80 going east, in order to head back for Black Rock City

Provides water purified by reverse osmosis normally at 35 cents per gallon, but for the week of Burning Man will be providing water at 25 cents a gallon. You can fill up your RV too. Bottle sizes up to 5 gallons, spigots and pumps also available. Two vending machines available 24 hours.
