driving directions.
Location:
Pound SF
100 Cargo Way
San Francisco, CA 94124
Please use your best judgement when parking and remember: Parking is
at your own risk.
By CAR:
From the East Bay: Take 101 South and exit Cesar
Chavez. Go
left onto Cesar Chavez and take a right where it ends at Third Street.
Get in the left lane and just past the little bridge take a left on
Cargo Street. Go approx 1/2 mile down until you see the club on the
left. NOTICE: If you are driving from the East Bay,
please note that there is
a closure of the Eastbound side of the Bay Bridge on Saturday night at
midnight until 10am Sunday. Full info here: 511.org/promo/baybridge/default.asp.
From the South: Take 101 North and exit Cesar Chavez. Go right on Cesar Chavez and follow the directions above.
From 280: Exit Cesar Chavez and follow the
directions above.
By BART: Get off at 16th Street BART and take the
number 22 bus heading out of town (the bus stop is next to a Wells
Fargo). Get off
the 22 bus at 20th and Third, and take the 15 bus outbound from 20th
and Third (the stop is on that corner) to one stop past Cesar Chavez
St, just after you go over a little bridge. The bus will stop at
some blue and white office buildings. This is not a listed stop on the
Muni
site, just know to pull the stop cord when you see the little bridge.
Cargo Way is directly across the street. Follow Cargo down
about
2-1/2 blocks until you get to the club on the left. Be careful as there
may not be sidewalks on Cargo Way.
NOTICE: The 22 will run all night, but the last bus on
the 15 line is
about 12:56am (after midnight) and doesn't start running again until
5am or so. If you take the 22 bus to Third St and call a cab, it will
be
about a $5 cab ride. If you phone a cab, be prepared to give
the cab company a physical address. They do not make calls to street
corners.
By BUS in San Francisco: The 22 line to the 15 is
pretty much the best route to the club. All other bus lines involve
more travel and stop running earlier.
